Pennine Regeneration
Pennine Regeneration is a charity seeking to develop new approaches in addressing the social and economic issues affecting people living in the most deprived areas of Pennine Lancashire.
Our aim is to deliver a variety of social and economic projects to improve people's lives, the places where they live and the prosperity of the local community.
We listen to communities and their residents - engaging them, advocating them, and facilitating change where it is most needed.
Our work can be categorised into 4 key areas:
People
We aim to create opportunities for people living in the deprived areas of Pennine Lancashire, enabling them to raise their aspirations and furthering their development through training and education.
Places
We seek to develop the capacity of local communities to regenerate neighbourhoods in which local people can live, work and enjoy.
Prosperity
Our objective is to stimulate local social enterprise and work with the local business community to create opportunities for sustainable employment.
Partnership
We endeavour to work closely with community groups, local people, enterprise and service providers to enable us to 'Create Winning Communities'.
